Qaem_shahr – sari Freeway co
In 2011, Construction, Maintenance, and Operations of Qaem-Shahr – Sari Freeway Co. was founded in order to construct a part of the West-East freeway corridor of “Khazar Sea” with a length of 44.5Km.
Benefitting from the expertise of the experienced professionals, this freeway with two approaches -each having three lanes (increasable to four)- is being constructed in the south part of Qaem-Shahr and Sari. The freeway will pass from the forests and the green lands nearby and this will reduce the traffic between these two large towns of Mazandaran Province which is the most congested route of the country.
The partnership period of this great project is 14.5 years consisting of 3.5 years of performing the project and 11 years for the operation period; the construction costs, including the side costs, are estimated over 25.000 billion Rials.
The partnership agreement of the above-mentioned project is made in the format of B.O.T. and 50% of the required capital for performing the project and utilities such as gas stations, restaurants, tourism projects, accommodations, installation and operation of billboards, and maintenance and operation of the freeway is provided by this company until the return of the capital and its profit.
